The Cathedral Hotel Salisbury

During my recent stay at the Cathedral in Salisbury, I found the experience to be quite balanced in terms of value versus luxury. Checking in was smooth, thanks to the friendly reception staff, particularly Ali, who showcased great customer service. Although there was a hiccup with our room not being cleaned, we were offered complimentary drinks, which was a nice touch. The hotel, while slightly outdated, offered comfortable rooms equipped with essential amenities including tea and coffee facilities and a flat-screen TV. The powerful shower was a highlight, despite the bathroom experiencing a bit of flooding, but it's all part of the charm! Free Wi-Fi was reliable, making it easy to plan our next beach trip. Location-wise, it's very central and ideal for exploring. Breakfast service was efficient, featuring a decent cooked option, but some items were unavailable. The bar area was lively, and we enjoyed a fun night at the nightclub. Although not a five-star experience, for the price paid, the Cathedral presents solid value without compromising on comfort. Would consider returning, especially for a budget-friendly escape.
